Step into a rewarding position as a Pool Shift Supervisor with the City of Brooks. You'll oversee aquatic safety and programming while fostering community wellness initiatives.

The City of Brooks is excited to welcome a Pool Shift Supervisor I, II, or III, within the Recreation Services Department. Operating mainly from the JBS Canada Centre, this full time role requires direct involvement in pool operations, custodial duties, and lifeguard supervision. You'll also provide critical instruction in lifesaving skills and help design aquatic programs to meet community needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Ensure effective pool operations and user safety • Supervise and mentor Lifeguard staff • Teach lifesaving and first aid courses regularly • Oversee facility cleanliness and maintenance • Assist Aquatic Supervisor in programming development

Requirements: • High School Diploma is essential • Relevant experience from six months to four years • Lifeguard instructor certification required • Advanced Pool Operator Certificate preferred • SCBA training certificate an asset
