The Success Coach role at The Family Centre is a 0.80 FTE commitment, where you'll engage with children and youth to enhance their resilience and community connections. This position involves working collaboratively with students, caregivers, and the community to foster a culture of support and encouragement. Your impactful role will empower youth to develop a positive self-identity and thrive academically.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct one-on-one meetings with students to set development goals • Engage families to strengthen support for positive youth experiences • Create group programming that reflects school needs • Empower youth to embrace their cultural identity • Facilitate summer activities for participant engagement
Requirements: • Educational background in Child & Youth Care or similar field • Strong communication and facilitation skills • Experience with diverse youth populations • Auto insurance and valid vehicle for job-related travel • Completion of necessary training upon hire
