Consolidated Gypsum Supply is a Western Canadian supplier of building materials. We are currently recruiting for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Saskatoon.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Drive sales and margin growth and increase volume for assigned accounts within assigned territory. Travel is required.
Solicit orders from both current and prospective customers.
Proactively seek new customers.
Build solid, longterm relationships through regular calls, onsite meetings, and responsive support.
Carry out merchandising programs as directed.
Identify customer needs, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that drive loyalty.
Adhere to company policies and guidelines to achieve sales objectives and maximize profitability.
Stay informed about market trends and recommend product additions or adjustments.
Contribute to the development of sales forecasts.
Maintain up-to-date customer records in compliance with company standards.
Prepare and submit call and expense reports as required.
Recommend current product additions and suggest modifications or discontinuations of existing products.
Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows as required.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Provide coverage on the sales desk as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
High school diploma, post secondary preferred
Previous sales experience, in particular B2B (building materials, an asset)
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent organizationa, time and territory management skills
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (pick-up truck is ideal vehicle)
Solid and relentless drive
