Interior Health is looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our Perinatal team at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in beautiful Salmon Arm, BC. Your skills in perinatal care will play a vital role in patient outcomes.
In this part time relief role (0.69 FTE), you will practice in a low-risk obstetrical unit. The position requires day and night shifts, where collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is paramount. You will ensure that maternity care is protected, client-centered, and responsive to changing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and care planning
• Evaluate and implement client-centered care strategies
• Work collaboratively with diverse health specialists




• Employ nursing science for evidence-based practice
• Provide care for antenatal and postpartum clients
Requirements:
• Approved School of Nursing graduation required
• Active BCCNM registration is essential
• Specialized training in Perinatal care preferred
• Current certifications in Fetal Health Surveillance
• CPR and NPR certifications within required timelines
