Business Analyst – Transportation Operation Solutions
to join their team in
Mississauga, Ontario . This is a full-time role sitting at the intersection of
supply chain operations ,

About the Role: Business Analyst – Transportation Operation Solutions Day-to-day, this role focuses on gathering and documenting
business requirements , supporting
user acceptance testing , and managing assigned activities within project timelines. You'll apply your understanding of
supply chain processes
to ensure that system configurations actually serve the people using them — not just on paper, but in practice. That means engaging stakeholders across Transportation, Operations Planning, Finance, Distribution, and IT throughout the project lifecycle.
Beyond delivery, this position has a continuous improvement dimension. You'll be expected to
leverage analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools
to surface insights and strengthen operational processes. Preparing
business cases , cost-benefit analyses, and ROI assessments for technology and operational initiatives is also part of the remit — so comfort with both numbers and narrative is important here.
Benefits and Salary The
broadband salary range for this position is $53,000 – $88,000 , with a typical hiring range of
$53,000 to $70,000 . Final compensation depends on experience, internal equity, and role-specific factors. Canadian Tire also offers

Responsibilities This role touches nearly every phase of a project — from early-stage requirements gathering through to training delivery and post-go-live support. You'll be expected to
manage multiple workstreams
simultaneously, communicate progress clearly to wide-ranging audiences, and apply both
business acumen
and technical understanding to drive results. The following outlines the core day-to-day responsibilities:
Collaborate
with stakeholders across Transportation, Operations Planning, Finance, Distribution, and IT to gather requirements and support development, testing, and implementation
Apply supply chain expertise
to ensure delivered processes and system solutions meet business needs and remain sustainable for front-line operational teams
Support testing
by using documented requirements and user acceptance criteria to confirm system configuration performs as expected
Manage assigned activities
in line with enhancement timelines and the agreed-upon detailed design
Lead implementation activities
with impacted stakeholders by providing updates, responding to inquiries,
and supporting formal and informal training delivery
Create and enhance training materials
to help end users understand and adopt recent processes and technology solutions
Perform data and process analysis
to inform insights and support business decision-making
Leverage automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions
to support continuous process improvement
Support development
of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI assessments for operational and technology initiatives
Prepare and deliver presentations , recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders across the organisation
Requirements / Skills Canadian Tire is looking for a candidate who is equally comfortable diving into data as they are presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders. This role rewards people who are

detail-oriented , and capable of maintaining clarity and composure in a fast-paced operational environment. The following qualifications are sought:
3 to 5 years of experience
in a logistics or supply chain related capacity is preferred
Bachelor's degree
or equivalent experience in Business, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication , presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Foundational SQL skills
with solid business and technical acumen; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL Studio is an asset
Experience analyzing large and complex datasets
to drive business decisions
Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions , automation tools, and advanced analytics platforms is considered an asset
Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Yard Management Systems (YMS) , or related supply chain technologies is considered an asset
Experience creating and delivering training content
is an asset
Ability to
manage ambiguity
and adapt to evolving priorities; results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines
