As a Peer Support Worker for Alpha House, you'll play a vital role in assisting clients on their recovery journey. You'll engage with clients to encourage participation in programs and foster connections to their heritage. Your responsibilities will include supporting clients in daily living activities and maintaining a secure, clean workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with clients in their recovery journey
• Encourage participation in Indigenous programming
• Facilitate cultural activities and outings




• Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily tasks
• Maintain a respectful and safe environment
Requirements:
• High school diploma; post-secondary education a plus
• Peer Support training or Wellbriety certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and empathy
• Experience in crisis management and conflict resolution
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license preferred
