Position DescriptionReporting directly to the Manager, Internal Reporting, the Corporate Accountant is a key member of a agile and integrated team. The Corporate Accountant is responsible for the timely and efficient preparation of the consolidated financial statements of the Company, and related supplemental reporting. This position prepares and maintains the key reports that are used in both internal and external reporting. This position also leads the Company’s consolidation process by working closely with the mills to understand their financial information and how it needs to be consolidated, and ultimately reported at the consolidated level. The position is a 21‑month term based out of our Vancouver office on a hybrid schedule and the successful candidate must be available to start on May 18 or May 25, 2026.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements (P&L;, B/S) of the Company.Oversee intercompany accounting, resolving discrepancies to ensure perfectly balanced eliminations in consolidated reporting.Generate monthly and quarterly reports, including financial dashboards.Provide accurate data and assist with the preparation of financial information disclosures within the Company’s public documents (10K, 10Q, press releases, etc.).Support and assist with internal control (SoX) testing and external audit.Collaborate with the team to support and assist continuous improvement, consistent reporting, internal controls,
and efficiency opportunities.Other financial reporting responsibilities and projects, as assigned.Qualifications and Experience3-4 years of accounting experience.Successfully completed or currently enrolled in a recognized professional accounting designation program.A Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent post‑secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business is preferred.Experience in accounting for foreign currencies and/or international entities.Detail‑oriented with an emphasis on financial accuracy.Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong computer and analytical skills.Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.A collaborative team player with excellent organisational skills.Experience in drafting financial statements is considered an asset.Experience with or familiarity in financial reporting software (like Lucanet, SAP or other ERP systems) is an asset.Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.
