We stay ahead of the pack by hiring the best and brightest.Job OverviewAs an Indirect Procurement Category Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the Procurement team by ensuring Spin Master obtains the best combination of pricing, service, and quality across indirect spend categories, driving cost reduction and operational efficiency.Everyone is welcome in our sandbox and we are committed to an accessible and inclusive hiring process.ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute global procurement strategies for assigned indirect spend categories.Design and execute sourcing events (RFx), analyze supplier proposals, and manage post-award supplier activities.Partner with business units and the legal team in negotiating contracts and agreements (e.G., MSAs, SOWs).Prepare analysis and reports on spend data, market data,



and cost modeling to support strategy development.Issue purchase orders using the e-Procurement system and administer supplier approval and setup.Facilitate the implementation of procurement initiatives by driving cross-functional team collaboration.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and assist in measuring supplier performance.QualificationsA bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Previous experience in category management and/or strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services.Experience with contract management and a working knowledge of contract law (asset).Experience with SAP procurement and Procure-to-Pay processes.Direct exposure to the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is preferred.Project management experience.Travel may be required.CompensationThe anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $80,000 to $90,000 per annum.
