Engage in hands-on project management as a Co-op supporting new product development for medical devices. This role blends standard practices with technical documentation in a hybrid setting.
The 8-month co-op is suited for 3rd or 4th-year students in Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering programs. You will assist in organizing project schedules, risk plans, and documentation while gaining insights into investment proposals and budget tracking for innovative medical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on developing standard project management methodologies
• Provide regular updates during design reviews and meetings
• Assist in prototyping and the development of fixtures
• Develop financial submissions and effectively track budgets
• Produce comprehensive DHF documentation and supply maps
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a relevant engineering or project management degree
• Previous co-op experience preferred
• Strong skills in technical writing and organization
• Capability to work in a hybrid mode as needed
• Desire to learn project management for medical devices
