What you will be doing:

Function as an Electrical Systems Engineer within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Majority of time will be spent working with the technical team, with approximately 20% interaction with Project Engineering (PE) and Project Management (PM).

Work closely with:

Electrical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Systems Engineering

Software

Integration

Current program/team size is approximately 5-10 people.

Provide technical leadership and oversight.

Coordinate technical activities across the team.

Identify and resolve engineering problems.

Communicate technical issues, decisions and progress to the broader project team.

Must be comfortable operating across disciplines rather than working solely within electrical design.

What you must have:





8-10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Systems Design / Electrical Systems Engineering.

Engineering degree required; Electrical Engineering strongly preferred.

Strong experience with:

Systems requirements development

Systems architecture

Electrical systems design/engineering

Integration and/or V&V;

Technical problem solving

Cross-functional engineering collaboration

Ability to provide technical leadership/oversight to a team.

Solid communication skills with the ability to coordinate with Mechanical, Systems, Software and Integration teams.

Strong technical Systems Engineering foundation.

Familiarity with the systems engineering V-model / V-diagram development lifecycle.

Must be eligible for and obtain/maintain:

Controlled Goods Program (CGP)

Salary/Rate Range: $80.00 – $90.00/hour
