As a Journeyperson Mechanic, you'll be responsible for maintaining and managing the safety of school buses and other vehicles. Your strong interpersonal and mechanical skills are essential for effective communication and task execution. Training or prior experience with diesel engines is a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain safety standards for all school buses
• Perform mechanical inspections and necessary repairs
• Work collaboratively within a team setting
• Document all maintenance work and inspections
• Mentor junior mechanics to enhance skills
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid Journeyperson Mechanic license
• A Class 5 driver's license is required
• Experience with diesel engines preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Must pass Criminal Records and Vulnerable Sector Checks
