VITA seeks a Payroll and Pension Specialist for a 1-year contract. This hybrid role is critical in processing payroll and managing pension plans for community-focused services.

In this role, you will be responsible for bi-weekly payrolls for both Vita Community Living and Mens Sana Families, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations. The position requires proficiency with payroll software, robust analytical skills, and the ability to deliver quality service within set deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately process payroll data for new hires and terminations
• Calculate, remit, and report on all payroll deductions
• Maintain accurate records and payroll reports
• Perform reconciliations for various payroll-related deductions
• Administer pension plans and support employee inquiries

Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education and PCP designation
• 2-5 years of finance or payroll experience
• Knowledge of employment laws and statutory regulations
• High proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
• Strong organizational and communication skills
