In this full-time role, you will collaborate with management and health committees to ensure a robust safety culture. Your responsibilities will include participating in incident investigations, guiding healthcare-specific safety practices, and engaging in proactive injury prevention initiatives to build a safer environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in incident calls and investigations as a lead
• Assist sites by interpreting H&S; legislation accurately
• Engage with VCH sites for effective safety program support
• Liaise with external stakeholders for H&S; activities
• Provide assessments on risk management practices

Requirements:
• Passionate about health and safety regulations
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a explicit history
• Health and safety diploma or certification required
• Knowledge in incident investigation is an asset
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
