Support Indigenous youth as a Probation Officer with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services in Sudbury. Make a meaningful difference through supervision and rehabilitation efforts.

This temporary position involves case management and direct interaction with youth facing legal challenges. You will develop individualized plans while collaborating with local agencies and understanding the community's cultural context. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills are needed to adapt approaches as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise youth rehabilitation programs
• Collaborate with community resources and agencies
• Enforce court orders and manage case documentation
• Conduct interviews to assess needs
• Maintain accurate electronic records

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Arts in social/behavioral sciences
• Two years of relevant experience as a Probation Officer 1
• Knowledge of social work theories and legal frameworks
• Solid analytical skills for case management solutions
• Availability for travel in the community served
