As a Recreation Therapy Aide, you will support various recreational opportunities and document assessments and care plans. Your role involves evaluating programs and ensuring all resources and supplies are well-maintained. Flexible shifts include working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete documentation of resident assessments and care
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and quality improvement
• Maintain positive working condition of recreation supplies
• Work a variety of flexible shifts
• Travel for education, training, and meetings as needed
Requirements:
• Certificate or degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies or related field
• Enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program
• Knowledge of recreation services in healthcare settings
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Must provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check
