Catalyze engineering success as an Engineer-in-Training at Irving Shipbuilding, focusing on process assurance and improvement. This full-time, in-office position emphasizes rigorous reporting and collaboration.
In this role within the Technical Engineering Team, you will report to the Manager of Technical Engineering and be essential in ensuring the integrity of engineering processes. You'll track key acceptance activities, develop metrics for effective reporting, and work with diverse teams to improve project outcomes. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives will be part of your mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track acceptance and assurance activities accurately
• Collaborate across teams for project transparency
• Develop reporting metrics for effective decision-making
• Identify root causes of challenges using analysis
• Create documentation to support engineering processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 0–6 years of relevant engineering experience
• Understanding of data analysis or lean methods is beneficial
• Project Management certification is an asset
• Requires full time, in-office attendance
