Shape the future of Indigenous academics at Mohawk College as the Manager, Indigenous Academics and Research. This full-time position emphasizes leadership, curriculum development, and community engagement.

In this role, reporting to the Director of the Centre for Indigenous Relations, Knowledge, and Learning, you will drive operational strategies to enhance Indigenous educational offerings. Your focus will be on collaboration with various stakeholders, overseeing project management, and ensuring the integration of Indigenous methodologies into academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Indigenous course and program development
• Maintain collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities
• Evaluate program effectiveness and compliance




• Track and report on financial and project progress
• Facilitate workshops and training in Indigenous pedagogies

Requirements:
• Three-year degree/diploma in Indigenous Education or related fields
• Five years of experience in educational management
• Solid understanding of Indigenous cultures and community needs
• Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills
• Effective communication across diverse groups
