Take on a vital role as Community Health Nurse for the Flying Dust First Nation, directing health programs including immunization, diabetes care, and family health. Work hand-in-hand with the Community Development Team to promote health improvements across the community.
This position focuses on providing comprehensive in-home nursing and clinical services, with a robust emphasis on community education and well-being. You’ll monitor and support individuals with chronic and mental health conditions while leading health promotion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical services through in-home nursing
• Educate community members on health-related topics
• Implement immunization programs and communicable disease control
• Collaborate with community development initiatives
• Supervise and guide Home Care staff effectively
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred
• Registered and certified by CRNS
• Required valid Driver’s License
• Practical Nursing Diploma essential
• Licensed with the Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses
