A career as a Branch Administrator & Associate in the Wealth Management team at National Bank Financial gives you the prospect to play a key role in both client service and branch operations. In this hybrid position, you will work in synergy with clients, wealth advisors, colleagues, and regional partners to support an exceptional client experience while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the branch.
You will contribute to the success of advisor teams by providing high-quality administrative, operational, and client service support. Your ability to manage priorities, communicate effectively, follow procedures, and support compliance and risk management practices will have a positive impact on both clients and colleagues.
Your role :
Provide superior customer service to clients in person, by phone, and by email, while ensuring effective communication between clients, advisors, branch employees, and various collaborators.
Support wealth advisors by preparing client meetings, coordinating advisor calendars, scheduling appointments, and analyzing client accounts for activities related to business development.
Open and update client files, carry out transactions related to investment accounts, and ensure that all work is completed diligently and accurately.
Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules, including performing rigorous follow-ups as recommended by Internal Audit and Compliance.
Support day-to-day branch operations related to financial transactions and act as a first point of escalation for client-related, operational, and logistical matters.
Disseminate administrative procedures and policies to branch employees, helping ensure understanding, consistency, and compliance while contributing to ongoing process and operational improvements.
Assist with branch HR administration, including supporting performance evaluation processes and recruitment activities, where applicable.
Help maintain branch premises, support a quality work environment, and monitor branch activity-related budgets.
Demonstrate leadership that encourages positive morale and culture within the branch, while supporting the branch’s presence and brand within the community.
Provide administrative support to Regional Managers and branch leadership on a variety of tasks and initiatives.
Your team:
National Bank Financial – Wealth Management is one of Canada’s leading investment brokerage firms, with close to 1,000 investment advisors managing the assets of more than 400,000 clients in approximately 100 branches.
As part of the branch team, you will collaborate closely with wealth advisors, associates, branch employees, and regional management. Collaboration, partnership, professionalism, and sound judgment will be key to your success in this hybrid role.
Prerequisites :
College, technical diploma, or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in banking operations, customer service, administration, or a related field.
Experience in the investment industry is considered an asset.
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) is considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
