Make a difference as a Casual Specialized Child/Youth Support Worker for Strive Living Society in Richmond. This part-time role provides two-to-one support for children facing diverse challenges, including neurodiversity.
Strive Living Society seeks compassionate individuals to enhance the lives of children and youth in need. Your background in neurodiversity and mental health will help you deliver personalized, effective care. Work in a structured environment focused on behavior support and the development of essential life skills while engaging with clients through meaningful interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver primary support while ensuring person-centered care
• Track and document daily logs and incident reports
• Assist in daily living activities,
from meal prep to medication administration
• Model positive behaviors and maintain skilled boundaries
• Participate in team meetings to develop program strategy
Requirements:
• Class 5 BC Driver's License and satisfactory driver's record
• At least one year of applicable experience
• Criminal Record Clearance and CPR/First Aid certification
• Training in Positive Behavior Management
• Capacity to follow behavior and health care plans
