Support building operations at the University of Toronto as a Journeyperson Control Technician. Your role involves maintaining and troubleshooting critical control systems at the St. George campus.

This full-time position requires a robust background in building automation control systems, with a minimum of five years of practical experience. Responsibilities include repairing control systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and collaborating with engineers to improve building environment management. You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational integrity in university facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair building control systems
• Maintain and install measuring instrumentation
• Update control system programs and procedures




• Perform preventative maintenance on control equipment
• Collaborate with supervisors for efficiency improvements

Requirements:
• Must have an Instrumentation Technician diploma
• At least 5 years of experience in control systems
• Knowledge in Siemens, Honeywell, and Johnson Control
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Must be part of IBEW Local 353 or willing to join
