Skeena Gold + Silver Limited seeks an Environmental Specialist to enhance water management efforts at the Eskay Creek Mine in British Columbia. This position focuses on monitoring compliance, water quality, and collaboration with Indigenous teams.

As part of your role, you will report directly to the Environmental Manager and oversee various water-related monitoring programs. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in hydrology, experience in water management, and a commitment to environmental stewardship. The role requires active participation in inspections and audits, ensuring all activities meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead environmental monitoring for water quality
• Interpret hydrological data to support regulatory compliance




• Coordinate external consultants and contractors
• Create and submit technical reports
• Develop and improve water management programs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
• At least 5 years of related environmental experience
• Solid analytical and organizational skills
• Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation
• Valid Driver's Licence and safety certifications
