Be part of a dynamic initiative in the insurance industry for our client that combines document review, collateral filing analysis, and data management responsibilities while supporting the successful execution of a high-priority project.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $27-28, based on experience.
Hybrid work, with 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
Review legal, loan, financing, and deal documentation.
Identify, analyze, research,
and validate secured collateral filings in Canada under the PPSA and in the United States under the UCC.
Extract, organize, and track filing information in Microsoft Excel.
Maintain tracking logs and reporting records.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of extracted data.
Work independently while maintaining close attention to detail.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders as required.
What you will need to succeed: Required qualifications
Previous experience working in a law firm, legal department, or similar legal environment.
Experience reviewing legal, loan, or financing documentation.
Strong knowledge of PPSA filings in Canada and/or UCC filings in the United States.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred qualifications
Experience supporting secured lending, commercial lending, or collateral documentation processes.
Exposure to both Canadian and United States collateral filing requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
