As a Support Worker, you will assist with the evaluation of service plans, provide life skills training, and facilitate social activities that promote independence. Collaboration with other service providers is key, alongside your ability to manage crises and maintain a therapeutic workplace. A diploma in social services and relevant experience is required for this fulfilling position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and evaluate custom service plans
• Provide training in daily living skills
• Support clients in community engagement activities
• Address emergency situations promptly
• Document interactions and maintain records
Requirements:
• Diploma in a relevant field of study
• Minimum one year of related experience
• Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification
• WHMIS and FOODSAFE Level 1 certifications
• Successful Criminal Record Review for Vulnerable People
