Seek to empower adults through mentorship as an Adult Mentor with Eagle Heart Centre. Your empathetic approach will help those with cognitive disabilities navigate trauma and housing instability.

This role is integral to providing stability and support for individuals in crisis and those disconnected from community resources. As an Adult Mentor, you will apply a strengths-based approach to facilitate skill development and promote wellness. Your ability to engage respectfully across diverse backgrounds will be key as you foster trust and connections.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist adults with crisis management and individualized support
• Facilitate housing assistance and community integration
• Promote cultural engagement and support wellness initiatives




• Build trusting relationships and develop essential skills
• Uphold ethical conduct and integrity in client interactions

Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma and at least one year of relevant experience
• Robust knowledge of Indigenous cultures and trauma implications
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
• Valid class 5 driver's license and Criminal Record Check required
