Be a pivotal player in the BC Government as a Client Service Worker, focusing on crucial administrative tasks and client support in an in office capacity. This role is designed for high-impact service delivery.
As a member of the Service Delivery Division, you will address inquiries related to income and disability services from British Columbians. You’ll be responsible for providing in-depth support and coordination, applying various tools and technologies to manage client needs. Your experiences in client service will be crucial in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address inquiries about income and disability assistance
• Work collaboratively with Employment and Assistance Workers
• Utilize computer programs for client management
• Provide effective service even in high-pressure situations
• Support clients experiencing poverty or mental health issues
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent
• Experience in customer service in fast-paced settings
• Proficient with applications like MS Word and Excel
• Conflict management experience is a plus
• Ability to show empathy and resilience
