Extendicare is seeking a part time Personal Support Worker to provide individualized care to residents. Ensure their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met in a supportive workplace.

In this position, you will work under the guidance of dedicated Registered Staff. Your primary duty is to assist residents with activities of daily living while adhering to our zero lift policy. You'll contribute to their overall well-being by promoting social interaction and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct care for residents in daily tasks
• Encourage participation in recreational activities
• Support residents during meal times and provide feeding assistance
• Offer social and emotional support, including palliative care




• Report on residents’ conditions and participate in care discussions

Requirements:
• Background in personal support work with relevant experience
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation and safety practices
• Strong observational skills for effective care delivery
• Ability to maintain a supportive and respectful atmosphere
• Commitment to adherence of all home policies
