As an Expert in Dam Safety Governance at AtkinsRéalis, lead critical assessments and enhance the safety of dam infrastructure throughout Canada. This role will utilize your extensive skills in engineering and regulatory compliance.
You will take charge of leading Dam Safety Reviews, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your role includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, dam owners, and regulators to communicate risks and support necessary improvements. You will play a pivotal role in shaping national dam safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute Dam Safety Reviews following CDA guidelines
• Provide expert advice on operations and risk management
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and Indigenous communities
• Ensure adherence to federal and provincial dam regulations
• Review technical reports and safety assessments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or related engineering field
• Valid Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
• At least 15 years of dam engineering experience
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Strong expertise in CDA Dam Safety Guidelines
