In this strategic leadership role, the Director of Development is responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive plans to generate philanthropic support for the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design. With a focus on raising $1M - $1.5M annually, this role requires building strong relationships with donors and alumni while aligning fundraising initiatives with university goals. You'll work closely with the Dean and other stakeholders in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage fundraising strategies to meet targets
• Forge and sustain relationships with key donor networks




• Lead stewardship and engagement initiatives
• Plan events for alumni and donor appreciation
• Collaborate with university leadership on fundraising campaigns

Requirements:
• At least 6 years of fundraising experience in a leadership role
• 4 years in a managerial capacity within a unionized context
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
• Knowledge of fundraising compliance and tax regulations
• Proven ability to present compelling cases for support
