Granum School located in Granum, Alberta is seeking to hire the very best teachers in Alberta! Granum School is a K-9 school with approximately 50 students.

Granum School requires a Part -Time Educational Assistant (14 hours per week) (Tuesdays & Thursdays) to provide 1-1 child support primarily in the Kindergarten class. The successful candidate will provide assistance for children in an inclusive program to help meet the goals of the children's learning plan.

Desired qualifications include the following:

● Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings ● Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students and staff

● Experience and training in working with children with diverse learning needs

- Experience working with children with diverse physical needs and challenging behaviours





● Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team ● NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset.

● Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent

- Knowledge of American Sign Language and/or Assistive Technology is an asset
