We are currently seeking a Territory Manager to support our existing clients, open new accounts and help our retail customers achieve outstanding growth and sales targets.
Role Overview:
As a Territory Manager, you’ll work as a trusted partner for our clients, with a proven history of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships is essential while visiting stores across your territory to provide hands-on support (tastings), drive sales growth, and ensure the brand is represented to the highest standards. Your work will directly contribute to the success of both the accounts you support and the brand. We are looking for a dynamic member of our team to represent the Please!
Beverage
Co. brand at all accounts, both new and existing, throughout the territory, on a consistent basis.
Your Qualifications, Key Role Responsibilities, and Education will be:
Responsible for a Territory to include but not limited to Vancouver, Downtown, North Shore and Sea to Sky highway – Whistler/ Squamish) (subject to additional locations as brand expands).
2-5 years experience in the alcoholic beverage industry mandatory
You will call on private and government liquor stores, restaurants, pubs, eateries, theatres, golf courses,
ski mountains and other establishments that sell liquor, at establishment level.
Track, manage and diarize calls, along with organize routing schedule of territory to define optimal time management in the CRM
Know how to plan an effective daily route within your territory to include top 50 accounts (A) – 60%, (B) 30% accounts, plus on premise and other opportunities – 10%
Identify leads and any opportunities through consistent cold calls/sales calls in your territory
Increase sales volume and points of distribution, both in LRS and OP (6-8 store visits a day)
You should be a hunter for new business to include securing a minimum 2 taps per month or working towards securing taps.
Negotiate in-store placement of products shelf space, fridges and in-store displays and promotions
3-4 tastings a month scheduled and executed in-store tasting events in GLS, LRS, ON Premise
Execute farmers markets and relevant festivals on a as need basis.
Report business activities to the Regional Manager on a weekly basis – WINS and Work in Progress report
Manage expense account and complete monthly expense reports.
You have a strong work ethic; you are a self starter and a positive person both in the office and on the road.
Review monthly business plan for your territory with your Manager
Educate recent accounts and staff on craft cocktails and Please! Beverage Co.
You will have your own vehicle
You will have a clean driving record
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent (an asset)
Preferred Skills and Expectations:
As a Territory Manager, you will be expected to have a regular presence throughout the territory. In addition to being a driver of business, the ideal candidate should have most of the following skills:

You are trustworthy, honest and you have a keen ability to communicate and convey ideas and feedback frequently in a positive and constructive manner both internally and externally what you see on the road and what the industry is doing, what is working.
You thrive when working independently and enjoy being on the move. This is a role for someone who loves being a road warrior building relationships, and making an impact in store.
You’re organized and can manage multiple tasks without missing a beat—ensuring proper product placement, stock management, and reporting while maintaining high standards. You have a knack for creating impactful in-store experiences and visual displays, but you also know how to maintain a polished, professional presence with clients and store staff.
A willingness to lift kegs, cases of craft cocktails and event material, often without help
