Become a Professional Flight Instructor and impart your aviation knowledge to new pilots. This role involves teaching flying techniques and managing flight operations for aspiring aviators.
The position requires a valid Transport Canada flight instructor rating and a Commercial Pilot Licence. Responsibilities include conducting flight sessions, supervising engine and aircraft systems, and delivering key navigation instruction during ground school. You will document any malfunctions and ensure proper reporting for maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate fixed wing aircraft and teach flying procedures
• Instruct student pilots on navigation, radio procedures, and regulations
• Perform post-flight aircraft inspections and record malfunctions
• Facilitate training for additional certifications and examinations
• Communicate needed repairs to ground maintenance teams
Requirements:
• Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot Licence - fixed wing
• Transport Canada flight instructor rating required
• Other certifications: Private Pilot, Flight Instrument, Visual Flight Ratings
• Valid driver's licence and medical assessment clearance
• Flexible working hours including mornings, nights, and weekends
