West Neighbourhood House is seeking a Facilities and Properties Manager to lead operations in Toronto. This position involves comprehensive facilities management, emergency protocols, and health/safety compliance.

As an onsite manager, you will supervise maintenance operations, support diverse staff, and oversee capital projects. With strong project management skills, this role also requires a knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems to uphold standards. Your leadership will provide innovative solutions for facilities-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety and functionality of facilities and properties
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance plans
• Oversee the performance of contractors and compliance




• Conduct training for staff on safety and emergency procedures
• Manage commercial tenant and partner relationships

Requirements:
• Certificate in Facilities Management or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in facilities management
• 1+ year in a leadership role, preferably unionized
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to travel between locations
