WHAT YOU’LL DO

Dream up, prototype, test, break, and rebuild innovative new building material products.

Lead innovation projects fromconcept through commercialization and launch.

Build and manage AGT’s innovation pipeline and product roadmap.

Identify new product, category, and product-improvement opportunities.

Research market trends, customer needs, competitors, technologies, and emerging building practices.

Coordinate prototypes, product testing, validation, certifications, and field evaluations.

Lead R&D; initiatives and collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to bring your ideas to life.

Manage projects through a structuredStage-Gate or similar development process.

Support product positioning, launch strategy, training, and post-launch performance.

Identify opportunities to improve product performance, manufacturing, installation, and speed to market.

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU BRING

Acreative problem solverwho lives at the intersection of invention and application.

Experience inproduct development,materials science,construction, or MacGyver-like DIY engineering.

Experience inbuilding materials, construction products, manufacturing, or home improvementstrongly preferred.

Experience taking physical products from concept to market.

Bonus points if you’ve filed patents, built prototypes, or made something totally weird that actually worked.





Not afraid to get your hands dirty or pitch your boldest ideas in a boardroom.

Proficiency using generative AI tools for research, analysis, problem-solving, and productivity.
