Join the BGC Okanagan team as a Support Worker in Vernon, BC, and help children thrive in our Child Care Programs. This casual role focuses on supporting children needing additional help and ensuring their success.

As a Support Worker at BGC Okanagan, you will play an instrumental role in shaping positive experiences at our Ellison and Alexis Park clubs. You will work closely with Program Managers to assess individual needs and create tailored programs that promote growth and integration. Building solid relationships with families and ensuring effective communication will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with Program Managers to adapt programs for individual needs
• Plan and develop quality programs with necessary modifications
• Promote integration with peers through accommodations




• Communicate effectively with family members and guardians
• Document participant interactions and maintain case records

Requirements:
• Diploma or Certificate plus relevant experience with diverse abilities
• Current First Aid and Food Protected certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• Class 4 Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• At least 19 years old, per provincial regulations
• Complete criminal record check successfully
