Join North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services as a full time Child Mental Health Clinician in Timmins. Provide essential psychotherapy and counseling support to children and their families facing emotional challenges.
In this role, you will utilize your expertise to assess and address the mental health needs of children and adolescents up to 18 years old. Strong communication and collaboration are key as you engage in multi-disciplinary teamwork, implementing innovative strategies for effective client care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individual psychotherapy sessions for children and youth
• Evaluate clinical assessments to identify specific needs
• Coordinate with families to improve their support systems
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or appropriate undergraduate degree in a relevant field
• Valid registration with the appropriate Ontario College
• Experience in children’s mental health services required
• Bilingual: Fluent in English and French
• Driver’s license (G2 and willingness to obtain G Class)
