Shape the future of students in the Mechanical Engineering program at UBC. This Senior Program Assistant position centers on advising, administration, and coordinating key departmental functions.
This role is designed to support both undergraduate and graduate students during a transformative period. You will engage in advising students about their academic and career goals, manage registrations and track student data, ensure timely graduation processing, and coordinate events designed to enhance the student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive advising for Mechanical Engineering students
• Oversee registration processes and monitor student progress
• Organize admissions coordination and graduation checks
• Manage logistics for departmental events and outreach activities
• Facilitate student records management and documentation
Requirements:
• Background in academic administration or relevant experience
• Robust communication skills for student interaction
