Fueling Brains Academy is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, qualified Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to join our teams across Calgary and surrounding communities.

Lead Teachers
Alberta ECE Level 3 - Required

Full-time opportunities for experienced educators ready to lead a classroom, take ownership of programming and support their teaching team.

Assistant Teachers
Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3 - Required

Full-time opportunities for educators who love being hands-on in the classroom and actively supporting children’s learning, development and everyday experiences.

On-Call Teachers
Alberta ECE Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 - Required

Flexible opportunities for educators who are comfortable stepping into different classrooms, working with different age groups and supporting our teams where they're needed most.

ECE Certification Is Mandatory
These are Early Childhood Educator positions, and a recognized Alberta ECE certification is a non-negotiable requirement.

Lead Teacher: Alberta ECE Level 3

Assistant Teacher: Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3

On-Call Teacher: Alberta ECE Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3

Your certification level will help determine which opportunities you can be considered for.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?




We're looking for educators who genuinely enjoy working with children and understand what it takes to create a safe, engaging, inclusive and nurturing early learning environment.

You may be a great fit if you have experience:

Working in a licensed childcare or early learning setting

Supporting infants, toddlers, preschool and/or kindergarten-aged children

Planning and delivering developmentally appropriate learning experiences

Managing or supporting different classroom and group sizes

Building positive relationships with children and families

Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development

Collaborating effectively with fellow educators and classroom teams

Creating environments where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn

Experience within a Canadian licensed childcare setting is strongly preferred.

For Our Lead Teachers
We're looking for experienced educators who are ready to step up, take ownership and lead their classroom with confidence.

You’ll Need:

Alberta ECE Level 3 certification - mandatory

Relevant licensed childcare/early learning experience

Previous experience leading or taking ownership of a classroom

Strong curriculum planning and implementation experience

Confidence guiding and supporting fellow educators

Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice

Ability to confidently manage classroom dynamics and varying group sizes

For Our Assistant Teachers
If you thrive as part of a collaborative teaching team and love being actively involved in children’s learning and development, this could be your next opportunity.

You’ll Need:





Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification - mandatory

Relevant licensed childcare/early learning experience

Hands-on classroom experience with young children

Ability to support programming, classroom routines and learning activities

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work with different age groups and classroom sizes

For Our On-Call Teachers
Looking for flexibility while continuing to make an impact in the classroom?

You’ll Need:

Alberta ECE Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 certification - mandatory

Relevant childcare or Early Childhood Education experienceConfidence working with different age groups and teaching teams

Flexibility to move between varying classroom environments

The ability to adapt quickly and positively

Availability to accept on-call shifts as required

Hold the appropriate Alberta ECE certification for the position

Have relevant childcare or early learning experience

Hold valid First Aid/CPR certification or be willing to obtain it

Hold a valid Police Information Check/Vulnerable Sector Check or be willing to obtain it

Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, strong communication and teamwork

Be committed to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for every child
