Join the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario as a Part-Time Child Development Facilitator in North Bay, where you'll inspire young minds through play and creativity. This role is essential in nurturing child safety and engagement.
As an Early Learning Facilitator within the YMCA’s Before and After School Program, you'll play a crucial role in the development of children aged 0-12. You'll work under the guidance of the Supervisor of Child, Youth and Family Development, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation while fostering enriching learning experiences. Your passion for childhood education will shine through in this part time role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate supervision ensuring children's safety
• Keep accurate attendance and conduct head counts
• Develop engaging educational programs with YMCA curricula
• Document children's progress and maintain family communication
• Conduct daily safety inspections of all program areas
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma or degree related to child development
• Minimum of two (2) years working experience with children
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
• Membership with the College of Early Childhood Educators
• Flexible schedule and commitment to diversity and inclusion
