Milton Hydro is hiring a Regulatory Accounting Expert to assist with its regulatory accounting and financial metrics. Solid analytical skills and a CPA designation are key for candidates. The role entails performing regulatory accounting activities, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your insights and collaboration will shape Milton Hydro’s corporate objectives and community systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct reconciliation of regulatory and variance accounts
• Validate monthly invoicing with Independent Electricity System Operator




• Analyze financial transactions for insights and anomalies
• Support regulatory applications and filings
• Work with internal teams to implement regulatory standards

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
• CPA designation with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis
• Working knowledge of IESO and OEB rules preferred
• Experience in a regulated sector considered an advantage
