Become a key player at Sun West School Division as a Temporary Full-time Child and Youth Counsellor. This role provides a unique opportunity to support student success at Westberry and Rossville Schools starting as soon as possible.

In this position, you will deliver individualized counselling to students struggling with social, emotional, or behavioral issues. Collaboration with teachers will be essential to promote wellness and optimize classroom programs for students requiring additional support. Engage actively with parents to foster a comprehensive support network.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver counselling to students facing diverse challenges
• Collaborate with teachers on student wellbeing initiatives




• Help develop tailored programs for affected students
• Liaise with parents and guardians on student matters
• Provide professional development workshops for educators

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or similar
• Experience in school counselling preferred
• Strong cooperative and communication skills
• Ability to navigate between multiple school locations
• Dedication to enhancing student success and well-being
