Position: Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

Location: Various Childcare Centres across the GTA and surrounding areas

Pay: $25.00 per hour

About the Position

Edion Staffing Agency is currently seeking qualified and dependable Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) to support childcare centres across the GTA and surrounding areas.

This prospect is ideal for RECEs looking for flexible shifts and the opportunity to work in different childcare environments while supporting the development, safety, and well-being of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, caring, inclusive, and engaging environment for children.

• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities and programming.

• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

• Maintain appropriate supervision of children at all times.

• Assist with classroom routines, meals, transitions, outdoor activities, and rest periods.

• Follow the childcare centre's policies, procedures, and daily programming.

• Maintain professional communication with children, families, centre staff, and supervisors.

• Complete required documentation and incident reporting when applicable.

• Maintain proper health, hygiene, and safety practices.

• Work collaboratively with permanent centre staff and other educators.

Requirements Applicants must:

• Be currently registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).





• Have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check appropriate for working with children.

• Hold valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.

• Provide required immunization and health documentation where applicable.

• Have knowledge of Ontario childcare standards and skilled expectations.

• Be dependable, punctual, professional, and comfortable working at different childcare locations.

• Be able to follow centre-specific policies and instructions.

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
