Our client located in Sarnia, Ontario is currently seeking a Welder/Fabricator.

This is a unionized environment.

Payrate is $41.65 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Fabricate and weld
- Work with Maintenance personnel
- Maintain a clean and safe weld shop
- Follow safety protocols
- Flat welding
- Horizontal welding
- Overhead welding
- Structural Welding
- MIG
- TIG
- FluxCore
- Stick

Qualifications:

- Must hold CWB welding tickets and present it with your application
- Excellent Safety Performance
- Excellent housekeeping record
- Excellent Attendance Record
- Mechanical Knowledge and Aptitude




- Effectively works with colleagues, shift supervisors and managers
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to read and write legibly
- Solid communication skills
- Must be able to problem solve/troubleshoot with minimal guidance.
- Operate equipment within company and production guidelines.
