Research AssistantThe Research and Evaluation Assistant will strengthen evidence-informed program development by supporting community research, data analysis, and evaluation activities across youth employment services, mental health initiatives, food security programs, and newcomer support services. The participant will conduct online literature reviews, help design and administer surveys, gather qualitative and quantitative feedback, clean and organize datasets, and generate descriptive statistics, charts, and data visualizations to support organizational planning and program improvement.They will assist in preparing research briefs, outcome summaries, and funder reporting documents that communicate findings clearly, accurately, and accessibly to diverse audiences. The youth employee will use spreadsheet software, digital survey tools, online academic databases, presentation platforms, and responsible AI-assisted tools for preliminary data sorting, synthesis, and content drafting under supervision.They will help develop and refine performance indicators, maintain evaluation files, monitor data quality, and coordinate with program teams to collect timely information from activities involving children, youth, vulnerable families, and newcomer clients.This role provides hands‑on experience in research methodology, program evaluation frameworks, data literacy, critical thinking, ethical information management, problem solving, and skilled writing. It directly supports national priorities by offering meaningful exposure to digital research tools, data systems, and foundational AI-supported tasks. It advances local priorities by enhancing the organization’s ability to assess, design, and strengthen community programs that address youth development, mental health supports,
