Make a meaningful impact by becoming a Grant Reproductive Research Technician with the Toronto Zoo. This position, available for approximately 6 months, combines dedicated wildlife research with community engagement efforts. As a Grant Reproductive Research Technician, you'll assist in various research and service projects while helping to educate the public. Key activities involve conducting lab/field research, organizing biological samples, and participating in public outreach.

Your role is essential in ensuring the zoo's strategic conservation goals are met. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the execution of research projects and data collection
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and reporting of research data
- Organize and manage biological samples for experimentation




- Help develop educational content and materials for outreach
- Perform daily maintenance of laboratory projects Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field with relevant experience
- Proven experience in a similar technician role for at least 1 year
- Robust organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding of research methodologies and laboratory functions
- Class G driver's license is a plus Your expertise in research and conservation will be invaluable at the Toronto Zoo, dedicated to wildlife protection.
