Position Summary

Russell Tobin is seeking experienced and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Emergency Room (ER) opportunities across British Columbia. This role offers the chance to work in dynamic acute care settings, supporting emergency healthcare teams in delivering timely and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct patient care within Emergency Department settings.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope of practice.
- Assist with emergency procedures and rapid patient interventions.
- Support triage, patient flow, and discharge processes as assigned.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and organizational policies.
- Provide compassionate care to patients and families during emergency situations.

Qualifications

- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency Room, Acute Care, Medical-Surgical, or Critical Care experience.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Strong assessment, communication,



and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs.

Compensation & Travel Benefits

- Pay Rate: CAD $41 - $54 per hour
- Facility-provided accommodation (where applicable)

- Paid travel time at regular hourly rates, capped at 7.5 hours each way

Position Details

- Contract Start Dates: Mid-October onward
- Minimum Assignment Length: 30 Days
- Extension Opportunities Available
- Locations: Prince George, Terrace, Quesnel, Sechelt, Smithers, Prince Rupert, and other communities across British Columbia
- Schedule: Full-time hours; Day, Evening, and Night shifts based on facility requirements
