Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Load and unload cargo with care, often requiring heavy lifting to handle freight securely
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly




- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance or reporting maintenance needs as necessary

Skills

- Proven experience in driving heavy vehicles such as trucks or tractor-trailers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines consistently
- Good communication skills for clear coordination with team members and dispatchers
- Physical stamina and alertness required for long hours on the road and handling cargo
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type
