Role Description The Veterinary Medical Receptionist/Client Care Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Beaumont, AB. This position is responsible for greeting clients and patients, answering phones, managing appointment scheduling, and coordinating client check-in and check-out processes. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate client and patient records, processing payments, preparing invoices, and supporting the veterinary team by organizing medical files and communicating follow-up instructions.

The role also involves handling client inquiries with professional phone etiquette, explaining clinic procedures, and ensuring a welcoming, calm workplace in the reception area.



The specialist works closely with veterinarians and technicians to support efficient clinic operations and positive client experiences.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess a positive attitude, exemplary reliability and dependability and contribute to uplifting work environment.
- Candidates should possess solid phone etiquette skills to handle inbound and outbound calls in a courteous, professional manner.
- Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and compassionate in a rapid-paced environment.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in completing excellent and consistent work
- Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively in a team, maintain confidentiality, and follow clinic protocols and safety procedures.
- Previous experience in veterinary reception or healthcare administration and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred; additional training in veterinary assisting or medical office administration is an asset.
