Priority-1 focuses on Less Than Truckload (LTL), Truckload (TL) and Expedited logistics services.The RolePriority-1 is seeking a Regional Sales Manager responsible for leading business development initiatives and managing a high‑performing outside sales team within an assigned territory. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands‑on client engagement and requires the ability to operate independently while making sound business decisions aligned with the Company’s goals.What We Offer$110,000 CAN + Uncapped Commission$675 CAN Car AllowanceExpense ReimbursementRRSP of up to 15% of Annual IncomePaid Holidays AND PTOUnlimited Growth PotentialDuties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Sales, the duties and responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager include but are not limited to the following:Sales Leadership and Team DevelopmentRecruits, hires, trains and manages to build and grow an outside sales team within the assigned territoryDevelops a high-performance sales team through coaching, mentorship and performance managementProvides feedback, training and support to ensure accountability and achievement of sales targetsLeads by example by modeling Priority-1 sales practices in the fieldBusiness Development and Client ManagementProspects and develops new business through in-person meetings, telephone,
and e‑mail outreachBuilds and maintains relationships with new and existing clientsConducts customer meetings to assess needs and identify profitable opportunitiesSupports team members by modeling Priority-1 sales practices and assists in closing complex deals and expanding existing accountsDevelops and presents client presentations using PowerPoint and web-based toolsRecommends pricing strategies to the Director of Sales, and closes contracts with new and existing clientsSales Operations, Collaboration and Performance ManagementMaintains regular in-person attendance within assigned territory to support to supervise team and conduct sales activitiesTravels as required within assigned market(s) to visit customers and prospect potential customers and to support team developmentMeets and exceeds established performance metrics including hiring targets, new business development goals, and sales forecastManages sales pipeline, forecasts and CRM activity to ensure accurate reporting and recordsProvides regular reports and updates to the Director of Sales on team performance metrics, sales forecasts, pipeline status, market conditions, competitive intelligence, hiring progress, budget needs, and strategic initiativesParticipates in sales meetings and conference calls to give updates on sales targets and sales forecasts, including close ratioPartners with internal teams to support client retention and growthProvides timely expense report approvals or rejections according to the Priority-1 Expense Report Policy & submission scheduleEnsures adherence to Priority-1 sales practices and reporting standardsOversees office-related operational needs within assigned territoryOtherOther duties as may be assignedQualificationsValid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to travel majority of the time within the assigned territoryMinimum One (1) year of outside sales experience in the logistics industry requiredProven success selling logistics services in an outside sales environmentDemonstrated experience in recruiting, training, disciplining, leading and inspiring high performing sales teamsSolutions-oriented mindset,
with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsHigh level of business and financial acumenExcellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the interpersonal skills needed in a fast paced, team centered environmentAbility to work independently and make sound business decisionsProficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools, assists with process improvementsStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple competing prioritiesPhysical and Working ConditionsRequired to drive regularly to varying client locations (including office and industrial environments) within assigned territory using a reliable private vehiclePeriodic standing, walking, bending and twistingFrequent communication with team, existing and prospective clients via phone, video, and in-person meetingsAble to work on a computer for long periods of timeRequired to work in a busy, open area office which may result in constant interruptionsRequired to spend long hours concentrating which will require attention to detail and high levels of accuracyRequired to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stressPriority-1 welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
