Drive IT operations for the Sustainable Forestry Initiative as the Technology Support and Infrastructure Manager in a hybrid capacity from Washington, DC or Ottawa. Focus on technology advancement and user education.
In this full-time role, you will manage all aspects of technology infrastructure and provide educational support across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Technical Operations, your leadership will ensure a secure and efficient IT workplace promoting SFI’s sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage design and compliance of IT infrastructure
• Coordinate staff training on optimal technology use
• Collaborate with external helpdesk to support users
• Oversee IT procurement and vendor relationships
• Monitor security threats and maintain data protection
Requirements:
• Five years of progressive IT experience, two in management
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft systems and networking
• Experience in privacy and cybersecurity compliance
• Strong customer service and IT management skills
